Because I have a specific area of expertise, I may feel the need to refer you to another physician should other types of health problems arise or be discovered. If you are under the care of another physician for heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or other conditions that are not related to the female reproductive system, you will need to maintain that doctor-patient relationship, as I will not be providing care for these conditions. You should know from the beginning that I never prescribe diet pills, nerve pills, sleeping pills, or narcotics. Also, I cannot give medical advice nor write prescriptions before I examine a patient, so please do not call the office or have me paged with such requests before your first visit with me. |
I thought you might like some information about my practice and myself. My specialty is obstetrics and gynecology, which deals with pregnancy and the female reproductive system.
I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. I completed my specialty training at the University of Tennessee Hospital in
Knoxville and at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. I am board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and am a Fellow of
the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am married and have four children.
